Being on the verge of turning three has signaled big steps for Esmé. And perhaps one of my favorite developments has been her budding artistry. She draws with purpose now and is able to focus on a project for longer stretches. One morning she brought this over to me informing me that it was a portrait of Esmé and Theo:
First off, I was bowled over at how people-like her people were. But more than that, I just loved the subject matter. Esmé and Theo. She's enjoying him so much more these days. And that just makes me so happy.
Theo has also taken some big strides. Mostly in the cuteness department:
